Madtom Tagging!

Today a group of us went up to Private John Allen National Fish Hatchery to work on project evaluating the use of PIT tags in Madtoms! We tagged 70 or so Frecklebelly Madtoms Noturus munitus to evaluate PIT tag retention and survival. If all goes well the projec will move on to evaluating madtom hotels outfitted with PIT tags readers! Check out some of these fish below.
